The MSL Type Inline Disconnector Switch was developed to operate in distribution networks with voltages of 15, 27, and 38kV and currents ranging from 200 to 630A.
They are used in most cases for the interruption and maintenance of distribution networks and service lines. Due to their construction, they are capable of withstanding short-circuit conditions.
Maurizio Inline Disconnectors type MSL are installed directly on the tensioned line, eliminating the need for mounting supports.
The insulator used is a polymeric Deadend Insulator type, covered with silicone rubber.
The blades are manufactured from high-conductivity electrolytic copper, and their construction ensures mechanical resistance under short-circuit operating currents. The contacts are self-cleaning, high-pressure type, with stainless steel springs and safety locking devices.
They feature an eye and hook for manual operation using a hot stick or for use with a load-break tool (loadbuster).
The contacts are self-cleaning, high-pressure type, with stainless steel springs and safety locking devices. The terminals are made of copper alloy with a tinned finish and NEMA drilling pattern.
Designed in accordance with ABNT / ANSI / IEC standards.
